Its research spans digital transformation, blockchain and IoT systems, data interoperability, artificial intelligence, and circular economy innovation.

Role in the project

As coordinator of the SORT4CIRC project, Constructor University Bremen leads the overall project management and the development of Digital Product Passport (DPP) frameworks, including blockchain-based traceability, semantic interoperability, tokenised incentive models, and integration with industrial sorting and recycling systems. Through close collaboration with industry, research institutes, and policymakers, the university contributes to the EU Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan by enabling transparent, scalable, and sustainable textile value chains.
